Capital Cities - Safe and Sound
Yet another song I missed the boat on. I seriously underestimated the quality of the May 2011 BIRP! playlist; I have found 4 songs that I LOVE on it that I seemed to have missed the first time. Maybe it's because the cover art was so unappealing to me...it was vaguely creepy and in washed out colours...not my style.

Andy Bull - Keep on Running
I can't really think of anything specific to say here. The song is really catchy, but it also has some interesting lyrics. Not a lot of songs can pull off the word "panacea." Props.

Underground Railroad - Lucky Duck
I have been going back through my music collection and giving a bunch of music another listen that I kind of glazed over before. Every month I download a playlist with 100+ new indie songs on it, so I don't often give them enough attention the first time around. I stumbled across this little gem today and have been kicking myself all day that I didn't give it the cred it was due back in June 2011!
